Calvados Christian Drouin –"Coeur de Lion"

The art of making Calvados brought to its heights. Our Calvados received over 429 medals between 1971 and 1997 in various competitions.

Among those received, it is worth nothing the following : Grand Prize of the President of the Republic, Prize awarded in the category of Pays d’Auge AOC on the occasion of the 50^th anniversary of the creation of the AOC’s and the national institute which governs them (1935-1985),
Cup of the Best Cellar in the Pays d’Auge, awarded in Beuzeville (1983),
Prizes awarded in the competitions organized by the towns of Lisieux (1985, 88, 89, 93, 95) and Vimoutiers (1985, 86, 93)
and Vinalies d’Or (1997).

The distillery was recognized as a "Remarkable Site for the Taste" by the Ministry of Culture and the National Council for the Culinary Arts in 1994 and was awarded the European Grand Prize of Prestige handed down by the European Foundation in 1995.
